Brother, that's great news! So glad to hear of Jerry's improvements. After sustaining trauma like that it's baby steps and sounds like he is thankfully moving in a positive direction.
Just had a coworker and friend who last April suffered 3 major trauma injuries of which anyone of them are normally fatal in bike accidents, after t-boning someone on a cell phone who left turned him at 55 mph, with no chance for him to brake! He was in ICU for nearly 3 months and it took several surgeries and months before he could walk on his own again. It's slow going with many bumps in the road to recovery, but he is thankfully back to work now and we were just talking yesterday about rebuilding his scooter for his one year anniversary.
I share this only to give hope and to know through prayer, through strength and determination, Jerry too can recover from this and I'll definitely continue to keep him and his family in my daily thoughts! I pray that God, gives Jerry and his family the strength to overcome this.
