I mounted the same bags with bare backs, made some alum. brackets I'll post'em when I can. 30 seconds on and off.

Miked053, can you post a pic of your bike directly from the back so that I can get an idea of the gap between the bags and fender? I just ordered those same bags for my Fat boy. Also, what seat is that? Your bike looks awesome btw!

Thank you, I think there is a straight pic in my album and it is a gap. Not horrible but prob more than some would like. The seat is stock

I think the bike looks awesome but I really think the black Lo wheels would look better on it than the chrome wheels you have. Again, I may be biased too.

What bags are those? My dealer here tell me hard bags wont work on my fatboy lo due to the lowered suspension

Just saw your post. They're from top shop s curved 1" to 3" extended bags. Your dealer doesn't know what he's talking about. Hard bags will work. All you need is cycle vision mounts. My bags are extended and they're not even close to hitting the ground. It does get expensive when factoring hardbags, lids, hardware, mounts, filler panels. If you want me to brake it down for you let me know exactly what your looking to do.
