Just put on a new rear tire...
Now above 70... I get a very very bad complete back and forth wobble... One time it turned almost into a full on tank slapper!!!
You need to completely check and solve this issue before you ride again. Some of these require special tools and in your case I enlist someone with experience and knowledge.
Wheel balancing (I heard Dyna beads makes balancing a no-brainer)
Wheel alignment.
Wheel truing. Do you have spokes?
Wheel bearings shouldn't exceed 0.002 inches of play (or so).
Check for bent rotors.
Check the seals/beading.
I would check front and back wheels completely. The service manual talks about all types of inspections you can perform and should perform and even provides a schedule for when they should be performed. Download the PDF Harley manual for your bike for about $10.00.
Anyway,
It could be a number of other things but you need to get this looked at by an expert who has the right tools and experience - this **** isn't light and could cost you your life or even worse - your ability to stand/walk around or you could kill or hurt someone else.
I let some air out this am, was told it was properly inflated.... Then I found out that my gauge didn't work as I was messin with it this morning.... So will get a new gauge today and check proper pressure
Who put the tire on? If someone else did make sure they put the tire on going in the RIGHT direction. Yes it is funny but it happened to a guy here at HD of Atlanta and caused his to go crazy.
Yeah... Tire arrow was right...
I actually installed it... A friend and myself... Then after the serious condition, I took it to a dealer to redo. Align, and check...
New tire on the way...
