I had a 204 installed in my 88 this past winter. They dyno tuned the Powercommander II and the numbers came out great. I got to ride it for only a few days last month but I could not agree more the bike runs great. It wants a little warmup time but after that it pull like crazy. I wish I had a 6th gear she would cruise all day at 90.
I've been saying that for 5yrs in here, but some just don't think so..OH, well...
Our dealer back in 07-08-09 Highly suggested the 204's install, and put in hundreds if not thousands of them in all the 96'' bikes, Dyna's, Softails, and Touring bikes..
The Touring bikes they recommended to use the 4* Advance and also in heavy Softy's..
It seemed out West and down south it wasn't the fav of the Yr cams.
I'll add now our dealer has since recommended the S&S 551' for heavier bikes in 10 and 11 bikes.
But since the new 103's have CR's I don't know what's the new cam pick now.
Anyway good choice for a light bike and solo rider they are hard to beat for a simple bolt in job.

The 204's are just SE203's with 4 degrees of advance built in for more bottom and midrange. Designed for heavier bikes - don't think the 4* key is needed. imho.

I tend to disagree. Intake timing is similar but the 204 has extremely different exhaust timings, the result is a very broad power band. The +4 key yields about a 500 rpm shift of the torque curve (power comes on sooner), generally a nice thing for heavy bikes. I did not go with the +4 key.
