Default customizing a softail.

I didn't know where to post this other then here, being its a deluxe and all. sorry if I did post it in the wrong section.

But what I'm looking to do is the wide tire conversion and was just wondering what it would cost me, I dont need an actual price but maybe a round about price. I do know it also depends on my choice of rims and tires. but if I could get a round about price MINUS the rims and tires would be helpful.

I sold 2 of my other bikes and made good money on them. but now I want to do something that I like, something I think looks slick.

Igot this picture off a website that was posted in the Vendors for sale section. Midwest Softails & Baggers (Chubby Choppers)
https://www.hdforums.com/m_1042170/tm.htm

Ihaven't gotten around to calling them, although I have looked at the pictures he has in his Bike Gallery. and hopefully if I have time I will give them a call either tomorrow or during the week next week. so if anybody else ever did it to theirs, what did you pay if you dont mind my asking?

what I sold to pay for it LOL

DONT FLAME ME TO BAD NOW

I don't know whyanyone would want to flame you for having a couple of crotch rockets?
They have their place and can be a lot of fun, I wish I had the kind of money it takes to get one as well as my Custom. One to satisfy my "need for speed" and another just to cruise around on or with the Mrs.

It'll depend a lot on what size rear you choose to go with. I want to say there are kits for as low as 1500 up to 5000.

Do a search for "The official fat rear tire thread" it's somewhere here in the softail section, lots of info. Or hit up two-five-0 - i think that's his screen name....he's got a sick fatboy with a 250.
