I m considering Screamin eagle slip on's or after market V&H pipes. Any preference out there? Also has anyone ever removed the baffles form slip on mufflers? Without baffles will my bike need tuned?

the plain screamin eagle slip on mufflers are quiet. If your going for noise I'd get vance and hines slip ons or rush slip ons.
full systems are nice but they cost!

whoops, sorry. no, you don't need to tune it unless you mess with the air box. proly money ahead to just buy a full system, air box, and tuner... but don't HAVE to. just doin mufflers or pipes will probly get you some deceleration pop... nothin that will hurt it.

Depends on how much U want to spend...

I've had my Rush slip ons for 5yrs. Only reason I'll ever change would be to go to some
2-1's.

Here's a set with 1 3/4 '' baffles,

The SEs sound stock and the V&h or Rush will make some noise. I have V&H slip ons for sale if you want them. I swapped them out for a full system and they're like new. PM me if interested. You won't need any tuning if you don't change the a/c.

+1 for the Rush Slip-Ons. IMO, save your $$ and get a full system. Many owners go with slip-ons at first then get a full system later. They end up wasting $$$ buying both. Good luck !

+2 on the rush slip ons. You can run them without the baffles but there is a real good chance your bike will run lean. I'm all about loud and obnoxious when it comes to vehicles but if you intend to spend anytime on the bike, I would plan on a headache.
