Default Gasoline Question

What grade of gasoline does everyone use. I have a Softail Deluxe.
I have been using regular unleaded...Should I use a higher grade?
Thanks..

I use high test in everything, remember that this gas of today is not like years ago when it had good octane, it's research octane now which spells "JUNK". Contrary to a few guys, I have found that my engine in the bike and car get better mileage and just run better with the high test. JMHO

Guess that I've never experimented with it. I've just always run super in the 02 Fat Boy and never given it a second thought. Everyone that I ride with does the same.

I have always used super. When filling only 5 gallons it seems not to be too big of a difference in price.

It was recomended that I use premium when I bought my Springer and I have been using it ever since, never tried anything else. You're right a couple of gallons at a time, the price is no big deal and my bike likes it.

I always use 94 octane. I have to ride a little out of my way to hit the one gas station that has it but its worth it. My Train likes it, my truck I use regular. Seems higher test in that seems to make the valves ping a little to much.

I use 94 or if I can't get that, the highest available.

Cheers!

I use 92 because it's the highest grade available at my favorite station. And it's my favorite station because it's the only one around that has 3 hoses, instead of all grades coming out of the same hose. Art
