If im not mistaken to go 113 you need to get a new crank etc. A bit much for the gains vs $ IMO but have ya considered just a hot 103 build? You can pump alot out of her for alot less cash. Simply my .02

Congrats on the Night Train and welcome to the forum. I agree you may want to investigate the 103 or the Fuelmoto 107 before comitting to the 113.

thanks ! , i will do some research on a 103. suggestions on parts , kits or both.
i travel the country in an RV. I am not able to build my bike in the confines of a twenty foot trailer. and i am currently converting a 2003 XL883C for my segnificant other into a three wheeler, I am using the CASS kit. that is why i am looking for a builder for the night train. I can personnally deliver the night train anywhere in the lower 48.

i have read about the four screaming eagle 103 ci stages. Are the stages just hype or is their segnicant improvements from one stage to the other. Is their a better choice than the harley stages? Can the factory drive train handle the 100+HP . what other mods are needed if any for the drive train?

I just finished a 107 kit on my 08 night train and I am very happy with it. It is alot cheaper to go the 103 or 107 route than a 113. A freind of mine at work has a 113 screamin eagle build on his softail and my 107 will out run it. I used the a fuelmoto 107 kit. A freind of mine did a 107 t-man kit and they both run about the same. I would look into the hillside kits they have been showing some very impressive results out of there 107 kits. As far as the drive train holding up it will be fine. People say that the crank needs to be built but I left it alone. One of my riding buddies has be beating the snot out of his stock bottom end 107 for about 12000 miles with no problems so I wouldnt worry to much.

Id say come to Mandan, ND to the Scooter Shak and see Nate. Hes a God at building motors! He used to work for S&S and has built numerous drag bikes.

Whatever way you decide to go, we'd love to see some pics of your Train.
