Just installed my new Dakota Digital speedo/tach. Wow....what a great unit!!! Well worth the $400. I also installed a Pyle audio system while I had the bike apart.
Modern looking speedos look out of place on the more traditional styled bikes IMO but whatever make you happy - it's your bike. Congrats on the new mod.

You can cycle through it's read outs and show engine temp.
Shows MPH or KPH. It can learn the range left on your fuel tank.
Performance info as 0-60, quarter mile time, and top speed you've ridden.
Within the first 100 miles, you can set the odometer to your current mileage on the bike.
Kowan, I don't want to hijack spidrbob's thread, but I have the same gauge and Dakota told me it couldn't do DTE. If you know how to get it to learn that and could PM me the instructions I would appreciate it.
