Default Feul gauge

I have an 06 Deluxe. In where the speedo, tach and everything else is, the little thing that looks like a gas pump, I assume to let you know you are low on fuel is always on now, it won't go off even when it is filled to the brim. It always stays lit up, any clues whats up? Any idea's as to why and how to make it go back off or to work properly again? Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? If so, what did you do to correct it? It's not a major problem but is it an indication that something else is going wrong in there too? Tips?

Its the sensor in the tank, if you dont want or need it you can move it to the top so it never comes on. Lots of folks end up same prob. Link below to topic about fuel sensors and grounds or shorts but I doubt thats the prob.
