Default EZPass

I am hoping that some of you Softail guys will help me out. I am trying to figure out a place to put an ezpass on my bike without having it look like crap. I do not have a windshield to mount it to. I even thought about putting a handlebar bag on just to have it up front. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any input.

Most electronic toll systems are tied to your plate.
Translation: picture of plate is run thru computer and then billed automatically to account.
Downside is if you forget to update plate info. with toll system.
But if you do not like that then how about zip tie to bike frame? maybe inner triple tree?

Stick it to the back of your helmet. You'll never see it there. :P

the EZPass thing didn't read my Dad's girlfriends whitebox one time and she ended up getting a $135 fine in the mail.. it was dropped, but still, they don't always just bill your account..

and i know you don't have a FatBoy, but I have this tank bib, p/n 91621-07, and the EZPass fits just fine inside of it..and all i've had to do is open the pouch, slide it out a bit, it gets read, then push it back in and go... only problem occurs if they have the gate that makes you have to stop..

I may go with a fork bag and if it does not register at least it will be billed to my account through the plate as im stated. I was hoping to mount it some where up front and also hidden. I did think about underneath the frame somewhere.

And thanks HDnoob for thehelmet suggestion. She is still laughing. I also got a suggestion of duct taping it to my bald spot when I am not wearing a helmet to prevent a sunburn. She is a little to good with the sarcasm sometimes.

I have never had one of those boxes on any of my bikes.....plate must be too small to be picked up cause I have never gotten a bill for my bikes....my cars no prob cause I have a tag and the plate is larger.

I'm not sure about yours, but it is usually the signal that is being picked up by the scanner, not necessarily the ez unit itself. I have friends that put them in their jackets and it gets recognized.

There are a number of small handle bar mounts my buddy used 1 of those on his highway bar mounted close in toward the engine and used clear velcro so he would remove the ezpass from the mount when not needed so all that was there was a small chrome mount which you really didnt notice sort of just blends with the highway bars like a helmet lock does
