Recently returned from a trip from DC to Savannah, Georgia and wanted to remind (as if we need any reminding) those of us who ride the Lo - FAT BOY Lo's ROCK!
Other softail dislcaimer: this message is not intended to offend the rider of any other softail.
Well that settles it then, I am officially saving up for a Fatboy Lo, lol. I have been eyeing a Fatboy Lo for over a year and just got my license (been in love with the style of the Fatboy as long as I can remember). As soon as I pay off my credit cards, I will be the proud owner of one. Its a good thing seeing someone say it rocks.
Question for ya....do you have the stock seat? If so, how comfortable was it on your long ride? Just trying to get as much feedback as I can about the bike before I buy. Thanks for any help.

I actually used a solo HD Brawler seat for the trip to Savannah (the stock seat was just a little too wide for me), and at about the 8 hour mark ( with a short rest every 2 hours ), my body was starting to ache. So, I just put on a Mustang 2 up, and it feels awesome. Otherwise, I put on some detachable saddle bags, detachable sissy bar and touring bag and whiskers highway pegs and she rides perfect - great for long distance and great for cruising. I can't recommend this bike enough!

Attached picture is how she looked heading to Savannah (minus the touring bag that slips over the sissy bar backrest).

Hey now, easy there! Actually, I had read alot about the Fat Boy Lo's engine and handling (or lack of I should say) when I traded in my Fat Bob, which handled great. Surprisingly, although expected, I don't feel any rocking and she handles great - mabe I just got lucky.
