Rail road tracks, dirt (construction site), and traffic signal all at same time almost took me out when I was doing my midnight cruise. Just as I was approaching the tracks the traffic signal just on the other side turned red. Not wanting to hit brakes on crossing (type with the rubber/plastic stuff between the tracks) Decided to cross then apply brakes. What I did not know was there was at least an inch of dirt was in the road. I skidded at least 50ft and Gods angel brought the bike to a stop just at edge of intersection in a cloud of dust.

Figured I would tell you since I sure as heck cant tell the wife!!!

 

Yeah that would suck. I never like hearing about wrecks. If I told my wife something like that she'd wanna sell the bike haha.

 

I stopped telling my wife about stuff like that when she said .... 'You keep on having close calls you're gonna sell that Harley."

Kinda funny is she likes to ride! WTF? .. must be one of those woman things.

I skidded one evening after a teenage girl went thru a stop sign and came at me. Of course she sees me bearing down at her and thn panic stops in the middle of the intersection rather than jut blasting through. I veered away and the floorboard clipped her door. That was it..l thank God!
