Okay guys, my turn in the barrel. Got check engine light on way home from work. As I was looking for a place to pull over, it went out. Did this couple more times. After doing a diagnostic, thanks to an old Dr. V-Twin thread I found in a search. Searches do work! I narrowed it down to the plug wires. I have Accel on it now. Thinking about going with Twisteds as the Accels are only 2 yrs old. Opinions? Experience?
Thanks.
The SE ones came in black, orange, and red when I got mine for the FB. I'm rockin the red ones and they work just fine. They're relatively cheap as well. I think they were under $20.00.
Thanks for all the input guys. I went to the dealer and picked up a set of orange SE wires. Cleared the code, will be riding later to see if my diagnosis is correct.
But I'm sure gonna miss all the TQ & HP I coulda got with some other wire!
