Harley screwed it up again. For those who had older models (pre 2008) the brake caliper brackets were set up so the bolts went in smother and the pads located in the caliper. Now the rear caliper bracket works as a locator for the pads (cutting costs) on the softail and dyna models. Also they are made from very soft aluminum alloy that is prone to thread damage. So be careful
