I Pulled the Trigger!
Bought and installed one a couple months back. Wish I had done it long time ago.
Not sure about the sweet spot... I usually pump it all the way up on the height and once it goes all the way add about another 5 - 10 seconds. Then I use the rebound switch to pull the back end down where I want it. If I am riding down the road and all of a sudden want a softer ride I just use the rebound switch and let air out of it which will raise the back end up again.
I installed mine on a Saturday. Ran into a problem and chanced calling JD. He answered. I apologized for bothering him on a Sat. He insisted no problem and had me up and going in 10 minutes by giving me instructions on the phone while I worked.
Long story short... make sure u don't cut the airline the least bit longer than the instructions call for and make sure the line and the 90 degree fittings get routed properly when you lift it up into the frame to bolt in.

Good choice in keeping your NT. Your bike looks great.
Thanks. Yeah, I did some serious thinking on it and I just couldn't let her go. Night Trains are rare and becoming more so.

Well I wouldn't go THAT far. Pans and Knuckles are rare and becoming rarer and are on their way to extinction, especially in the U.S. NTs that looks as badass as yours are pretty rare, that's for sure. Other than that, I see quite a few of them on the road...

I guess that might be a regional thing. I almost NEVER see Trains around here and I live in the NYC metro area.
I guess my point in keeper her wasn't exactly that they are rare but more than I get compliments literally wherever I go.
