Default 2pc fenders

I'm changing out my rear fender (going to a 9" fender 200mm tire on a 2000 Softail) and my question is when looking at fenders some are punched from 1pc of metal and some are 2pc welded together down the center (I think WCC's) is there any problem with the welded fender splitting or cracking at the weld? What are some better quality fenders, needing less body work, smoother, etc. Thanks...

Default RE: 2pc fenders

If it's a quality peice it shouldn't.Some builders may use a different size fender and just cut and weld it.I bought a 9" from V-Twin for $285.00.Now J&P sells the same fenders in different sizes and styles.
