Stock Mini Apes (rolling them forward?)
That's what I was thinking...they would appear higher and be just comfortable as they would be they way they come stock.
It's pretty simple to do, just takes a couple tools. If you don't want to shell out the cash for torque wrenches yet, most auto parts stores have a loaner tool program and you might be able to get one for the day for a few bucks. Also pick up a set of Allen sockets while you're there as you will need them to use with the torque wrenches. Place a folded towel on your tank to protect it, loosen the bolts on the top clamp, roll the bars forward (keep an eye on wiring etc to make sure nothing is getting pinched anywhere) re-tighten the top clamp equally, then final torque the fasteners when you're happy with the positioning.
Just for reference purposes, I have 10" mini apes rolled vertical, probably pretty similar in height to what you've got.

I see there is also. 3/8" so I am not sure which one is correct. Good news is I already have a set of Allen sockets. When u out it all back together after positioning the bars where I want, I assume I would tighten them to a certain lb? If so, what is that? (I still need to buy a service manual)
EDIT: I went and looked at my Allen sockets and they work with my 3/8" socket wrench so I would assume I need the 3/8" torque wrench, not a 1/2".

That went right over my head. Lol I found a 1/2" and 3/8" at Lowe's (link above). If those are right, do you have a link of which ones I would need?
Make sure that you do them up tight with a torque wrench, I didn't the first time just used an Allen key and did them up as tight as I could they were ok for months but then must have worked slightly loose, when I had to brake hard one day they moved forward about an inch.

Also, is your bike lowered? Looks great!
No I can't remember what I torqued the screws to, if no one on here answers that question just ring a Dealership they will probably tell you, yes my bike is lowered an inch as I recall with just the HD bolt kit.
I thought yours was lowered but couldn't tell how much. Nice looking scoot.
Torque wrench? I've never used a torque wrench on anything but internal engine parts. Been doing it like that for over 25 years and have never had a problem. But, you never know.
You just tighten things by hand? I assume you just tighten as much as you can and hope for the best? Lol
