Change again. The code came back on while I was on my to a local bar. When leaving the code went off. Got to a stop light and while leaving the intersection the code came on again.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
What is the code number from the diagnostics screen?
According to the Softail Electrical Diagnostics Manual your possible causes are an open or short to ground on the rear H02 circuit, an ECM malfunction, an HO2 malfunction or an open in the sensor power circuit.
Unfortunately the test procedures are not doable with common tools we have at our disposal.
If it's on again/off again I'd be more suspicions of wiring that is loose, leading me down the path of an open or short to ground on the rear sensor, but that's purely a guess.
Still a p0051. I cleared the code and then got Pn 001118-01. I am guessing that's the part number?
Exactly the same as mine, but my light is on continuously. The dealer didnt have anything that matched that part number. Hopefully it will be fixed when they replace the rear O2 sensor on the 22nd of this month....I will keep you posted. They asked if I had gotten any anti-seize on the sensor....I didnt even put any on because I know that will kill the sensor....
All it is, is 2 connectors. You disconnect the the O2 sensors and put the 2 new connectors on. These connectors make the computer think that the O2 sensors are still connected in which they are really not.
The black connectors are for the rear O2 sensor which is located next to the battery as you can see. The front is a white connector under the oil filter on the bottom of the bike. Now these locations are for a 2012 Fatboy Lo just in case anyone ask.
These connectors I got free from http://electronicjetkit.com/ Maybe I got them free because these are the people I got my tuner from.
My next modification is to get rid of the O2 sensors on the exhaust by plugging them with these https://www.denniskirk.com/4405313.sku notice these are the 12mm X 1.25. I hope these will fit. I will get them on Tuesday.
