Not wanting to get into who makes the better wheel just looking for a quick resolution. Finally got tires for the Mammoths I purchased and had them all mounted. Took the wheels down to Harley with the bike and received the dreaded call. He said the 3/8 spacer I had for the DNA pulley wasn't thick enough and the belt is out of alignment rubbing the inner chrome splash guard and that I may want to shim the brake rotor because it's really close to one of the pads. Beginning to think my first problem is taking it to the dealer to mount an aftermarket part. Just didn't have time & patience myself as we're still moving into a new home. The last we spoke he is going to put the back to stock.. Haven't received word yet on the front.
Also called DNA and they said an 08 FLSTN does not require a pulley spacer?? I may have the wrong hub! Anyone else with an 08 running DNA 16x3.5 rear?

Reason: To maybe help others lol
That sucks geoff....im still waiting on my DNA rear wheel. Finally got my DNA 21 front i guess i need to see if it fits okay. Goodluck with the wheels? I have a 2009 FLSTN.
I would bite the bullet, have the stealership return it to stock, pay the bill and get it home. Either search out an Indy who isn't the pussbag the stealer is, or break out your own tools, order up a variety of shims and spacers and do it yourself.

Hey Victor... Let me know how yours turns out. Did they mention a pulley spacer with your wheel? Can't imagine any difference in 08 to 09.

I think your absolutely right... Just hate dealing with that rear wheel. Haven't found the best way to install without fumbling all over the place.
