Been looking for different options for my wife while riding with me. She is very comfortable all around except when stopping at a light or whatnot. Only thing she complains about is sliding forward. It happens every time even if she holds onto the backrest. Just wondering is anything could help.
Welcome to the Forum!
What are you riding? What seat? Some seats are better shaped to prevent this. She may not like it, but I bet you don't mind too much.
Duct tape her to the sissy bar.
Or, she can do what my wife does and squeezes me a little with her legs. Since her knees are around my pelvis, it doesn't impede while I stop. The only irritating thing my wife does (or started doing last night) was she was getting tired and she put her hands on my back and actually started pushing me a little when we were stopping. I had a little talk with her about that.
Take a look at the profile of your back seat. My OL had the same experience until I noticed a slight angle forward. So I placed a couple of washers on the bolts to compensate. Now she sits straight.
Thanks for the repies. I have a 2006 heritage softail with the the 2 piece harley seat. I used the meguiers leather conditioner which ill stop and maybe try some washers to raise the front a bit. She keeps telling me to get a new seat but its perfect for me.
