Default Handlebar Advice

Getting ready to sit down and order my stuff..2011 Fatboy:

16" Carlini Apes
Burly Brand Cable set for the 16's
Chrome and rubber grips (to match my pedals and pads)

What am I missing? Anything anyone else would recommend I add before I drop about $700 on parts?

Missing:
1. Poly bushings for your riser bolts
2. Wire extensions (unless that's included in your cable set)

Also, are your new apes 1.25 inches at the riser? If not, you're gonna need new risers.

The bars on the 2011 are 1.5, and I am ordering the 1.5's from Carlini so I am pretty sure that stock risers will fit..if I am not replacing the risers, will I still need the bushings?

If the stock handlebars are indeed 1.5 and the Carlinis are 1.5 at the riser, the stock risers should fit, but I would use poly bushings or your steering will feel really loose and mushy with those apes riding on the stock rubber bushings.

Carlini 1.5 bars are not stepped for risers. It depends on what the bars had and who made them on the previous manufacturer. Just check the risers and see if the bars are stepped down under those. If they are not stepped then they will fit. If they are you will have to get some new risers for the 1.5 width bar with no step.

I have a question because I am about to pull the trigger on the same apes. Everyone says that Carlini is about an inch or so higher than what the website says. Will the Burly Brand extensions work?
