Default Pursuit?

2000 FB, had it 6 years now, 64,000 miles later I look down at the speedometer tonight and see something next to the engine light. Says Pursuit, what the heck is that? I've had this bike completely torn down and never seen anything in the manual. Does it make all the lights go out so the cops don't see me? Hidden feature, inquiring minds want to know...

It's not a police bike, don't think they ever used a softail for one, was just curious as I had never seen it until the sun hit the gauge just right. It's to the right of the engine light

Learn something new every day. I have never heard of that before but I agree, there is nothing I have not been able to find on Google but this is a good place to start. There are some very informed and smart people on this forum. If and when you find out what it is, post and let us all in on the secret.

Rakthi may be right........maybe the speedo didn't come from a Police Bike but maybe the Faceplate for the speedo came out of that stock. I've had my speedo apart (changing LED colors) and there are images (for backlights) that aren't on a Fatboy but are etched in the back of the faceplate. Does Pursuit have a backlight like in the pic below?

Every time I google a Harley question, one of the top links is this forum, with a note stating "DON'T ASK ArmedInfidel007, he just sends you back here"...

just saying...
