I installed a set of Wild One 14" Outlawz using a Burly cable kit this weekend. Everything went well except for the clutch cable. I dont know what the problem is but it seems to sticking or hanging up somewhere internally. When you pull the clutch lever you can feel the bind and when you release it, it kind of rachets or skips. I lubed the cable prior to install. I've tried lubing it more but it doesnt seem to help. Anybody else have similar trouble or advice ? Thanks

 

Burly is known to have clutch cable problems. Search and you will find more info. I spoke with them and they said they would replace the cable but you need to mail them the faulty cable so they can verify it is in fact bad. They told me months ago the bad batch of clutch cables are no longer being sold. Apparently they are full of sheit.

Bought a Motion Pro cable to replace the Burly one, smooth as silk. Burly finally got back to me and are sending an "improved" replacement cable.

 

Motion Pro is the cable kit that came with my apes from Hill Country Customs. Great cables.
