Default Mustang ?

I just got a mustang wide solo. My bike is a 07 FLSTN. The front of the seat is super loose, I can pull up on it and it moves around a lot.

Is this normal?

Not normal at all. Not to overstate the obvious but......are you sure its mounted right? Mustang's are notoriously tight when first installed. Make sure the little "tongue" is fully seated in the slot. Usually people post on here wanting to know why their seat is too tight to fit.

Goes right on. I'm wondering if I have the right seat, the seat says 08 regular tire which according to the website should fit my bike but it doesn't seem to be right.

I'm not sure about the fitments from year to year. If all else fails take the seat off and bend the little tounge closer to the seat pan....that will tighten it up some.

The post on the seat is a long ways from the seat pan. Maybe I got a Monday seat, the post is goofy and the backrest mount is way crocker. Kinda disappointed for what I spent, little details like that bother me.
