Default Subtle Changes

As a lot of you know, I have been contemplating some big changes to the sled. Nacelle, 21" front wheel, stretching fenders, paint, etc. I still plan on doing the nacelle and smoothing my rear fender (deleting the taillight), but I decided to be happy with what I've got for awhile.

Now, it's been a year since I bought anything for the ride, so I sold some old parts and decided to make a few subtle changes without breaking the bank. I finally changed out my stock shift linkage to a clean smooth chrome one from HD. Next, I decided to get rid of my last and final Willie G Skull. I replaced the skull medallion on my coil cover with a more classic looking version that adds some color to a not so shiny area of the bike.

Last, I'm not a fan of covers, but I decided to purchase the hottoppers softail starter kit and I must say, I'm impressed. I have been on a mission to clean up my ride for the last couple years, and these covers do the trick. No more bare, boring, zince plated bolts.

So basically, it's nothing that will show up good in pics, but if your the dude leaning over my bike at the local bike night, you may appreciate these mods.

NYce look, bro. Although Im not real sure about that medallion on the coil. It's about Football season, and me bein a Giants Fan, looks a little toooo much like a Cowboys look.

As for the Toppers, I have black and I love em. Although my indie HATES them. Hahaha. Oh well, that's why he gets the big bucks!!

GO BIG BLUE!!!

Looks great Toby! I have been in the same boat. No money for the upgrades that I want to do. So I have been doing little things too. Mostly just scuffing off all of the chrome .

WARG,

I call dibs on your wheels if you decide to change them out. I love the look of your bike...

Let me know if you ever decide to get rid of them...
