Red face Need forum help...

I have the shotgun shock on my Fatboy with a 2" drop in the front. I still have the stock 16 x 3.5" in. wheels on it. I just came across a deal on some 18 in. wheels. 18x 3.5" with a 130 tire in front and 18x 4.25" with a 160 tire in rear. I am so unsure how the 18 in. wheel setup will affect the shotgun. I mean with the 16's the bike looks great slammed. Will I be able to get the bike really low with the 18's with no complications or any mods? Couldn't find anything here on the forum about the difference between both wheel sizes...Please, I need some feedback. Thank you!!!

Depending on the year model you may have some trouble fitting the 160 on the rear. Other than that the 18 in. wheels are no problem and will only make it look better IMO. Just remember without pics it didn't happen!

Thanks for the reply HH. I have an 06 Fatboy. BTW, your ride is awesome looking. Are those 18's? If they are, what make and size tire please? Would you know if a 150 rear tire will fit the 18 x 4.25 wheel? Thinking of Metzeler low profile tires.. Thanks again...

I would think the 150 would fit a 4.25 wheel but you need to make sure. The wheel manufacturer or the tire manufacturer should be able to answer this definitively or maybe a fellow forum member has done this and will chime in.
