What is so special about the 1989 Heritage? I found one that's in pretty good shape and the owner made a big deal of the 89s.

Well for starters if you are looking at buying the bike the owner would want to talk it up so they could get as much as possible from the sale. Plus the owner could be extremely emotionally attached to their scoot, like most of us are. I mean hey to me my Fatboy is really something but to my girlfriend it is just another motorcycle.
