Default A Clean Ride!

I ran out of all my detailing products so I have been looking for some new products. After doing a lot of research I decided to go with Mothers 3 Step Wax System, Clay Bar, Spray Wax, and Chrome Polish. I finally got around to using the stuff today. I'm very impressed. Although labor intensive and time consuming I washed the bike, used the clay bar on the tins and then applied all three steps of the wax system. I followed up with hitting all the chrome with the Mothers Chrome Polish. Finished up with spraying the black areas of the engine with the S100 Engine Restorer. The ride is looking pristine. I don't have pics because the cover went on as soon as I was done in order to preserve my efforts, lol.

I won't use all three steps every wash, but will more likely do the following:

Clay Bar - 1 time per year
Step 1 - 1 time per year
Step 2 - Every other wash
Step 3 - Every wash

I'll use the California Gold spray wax for a detailer between washes.

Warg, Tell me brother, what is the claybar? Does the chrome polish really make a huge difference? Thanks

You can also use the clay bar on the chrome. It is not visable to the naked eye but chrome does pick up rode grime and minute particles of oxidation. The clay bar will remove that stuff also.

I used it on paint, but it's nonabrasive so you could do it on chrome too. It takes all the old polish, grime, overspray etc. You need to follow up with a good polish/wax because the clay bar leaves the surface exposed. I will probably clay bar the bigger chrome parts like exhaust, frontend, oil tank etc on my next wash.

The chrome polish worked great. Dont let it sit too long or it becomes harder to get the streaks off.
