Default 2013 Winter Mods.

WTF am I thinking winter mods when summer isn't even over:P Well I am out of town working again and have lots of time to think...including winter mods....plus our winters come fast in Canada.

Once again time to gob gob over ideas. For meh Lo...

1. Black out forks, tank caps, rear taillight base
2. Stretched Low Profile Dash (Hopefully RWD gets one ready this fall)
3. Seat...what to do about the seat? Hopefully this time I don't order a big pillow like I did with Lepera's Sanora last winter.
4. New Tach
5. Finish black diamond series for floorboards and pads.
6. LED lights...Panheadrich's find probably.
7. And whatever else comes into mind.

Good news for me this round....this winter will be a lot cheaper than last haha.

So folks don't get mad at me asking for your winter mod ideas at this time of the year What's your plan?

Cheers.

Gotta get it serviced for a bad fork seal (which they said is covered under warranty) and when they do that I'll probably add intimidators.

That's about it

Ya me 2 ha. Actually holding off this winter. I get props in real all the time about the wheels...funny how 'real' keeps things in perspective. 2 easy to fall into the Hd forums trap:P But but but...I still have the Billet Daddys in mind...next winter I am thinking about doing new paints w/ pinstriping. In turn the wheels may be brought in to tie in color and match. Long ways away. For now my focus is to finish the bike off with the concept I adopted for now.

I'm mad at you man!!! LOL Only kidding/had to do it! LOL I JUST started thinking the other day about winter mods and started my official list and IMMEDIATELY HID IT FROM MY BETTER HALF!!!!! Bad for her blood pressure...LOL
New 21 " chrome wheel with Dunlop 90/90 (going back to dunlop/made in USA/works good)
2" tank raise from DK/site sponsor
one more leatherworks bag for right side(hold my sleeping bag, bivy bag, sleep pad)
HAVE MY CAN CHEST CHECKED AND POSSIBLY REPLACE CHAIN TENSIONERS (25 K...). DON'T WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON GRENADING THE ENGINE WITH THE PLASTIC FROM THE TENSIONERS...HD DEALER I TRUST...SAID DO NOT GO PAST 25K...
THAT CLEANS OUT MY MOD BANK ACCOUNT!!!

May do the engine, may paint the scoot, may do both. Kinda depends how bored I get.
