I've got a '03 Fat Boy that's been triked..as part of the conversion, the front end was raked 6 degrees..when I reach speeds of 60mph, I'm feeling a shimmy in the front end..if I slide forward toward the gas tank, it does seem to calm it down..it's not a serious type shimmy, but its there..
A friend told me today that it's probably being caused by the 6 degree rake on the front end and that I needed a steering dampner to offset that shimmy..I can't seem to find a steering dampner for a Fat Boy of any model year..
Anybody have any experience in this area? Thanks!!
