I was just curious if any other 2006 Softail owners are proud of the fact that 2006 is the only year that has the 88 engine and 200 tire combination. The last year of the 88 and the first for the 200 tire. I think it makes the 2006 a special year......of course I am biased. Might be a good conversation piece in the future. Any thoughts?

I'm with Citoriplus...I've got a 2007 Fat Boy (my very first Harley...), and I couldn't be happier!

I am damn proud to have the last year of a harley softail that has an 88 inch motor, a carb, and a 200 series tire. Im sure im one of the few to have this bike since carburated bike sales have declined recently.

Must be something about the Navy and the Fatboy. I was in too and that will be my first Harley. I'm proud and mine hasn't even arrived yet!

What a minute...you guys are bringing back lots of memories! Sliders and rollers...holy crap! I'm sure I ate my weight of sliders and rollers for each Med Cruise I did! I was a carrier sailor...served 20 years and 9 months and decided I couldn't adjust so I got out! I was a crusty old Senior Chief ET.

Fat Boys and the Navy...makes perfect sense to me!
