Exclamation Help With Softail

I want to upgrade my exhaust, air cleaner and tune the bike. I have an 2012 Heritage Softail. I would like to do this myself and not pay a dealer, what system is good to tune this bike? I heard TTS is good. Let me know what you think

First welcome to the forum. Yes the TTS is good. In my opinion the Power Vision is better especialy with the support you get from Fuel Moto.

Welcome to the forum from ND. I just bought a 2012 Heritage myself. Sign the papers friday actually. I am interested to see what you do with yours. It may inspire me as well.

We have Bassani Road rage 2-1 pipes on our 2012 Heritage and we are saving up to get the PV from fuel moto along with the air cleaner mod they offer, it leaves the stock air cleaner cover in place but changes out the back plate along with the air cleaner.

Here is the video of our bike with the Bassani pipes, and those painted toe nails belong to the wife

Very nice sound, I went with just the V&H Straight shot mufflers, Hopefully it will sound good. Should get them in a week.

I recently did a self-install of V&H propipe chrome 2-1 pipes, Fuel Moto A/C, and Powervision with tune set up from Fuel Moto. If you are reasonably handy with a wrench, you can do it. I did need to go out and spend a couple of hundred bucks on the proper tools, and I also purchased the 2012 softail service manual for around $60 so that I could have a good set of drawings and all the proper torque specs for the bolts. If you have the patience and interest in doing it yourself it can be very rewarding and a good way to learn about your bike. If not, it may be worth it to have your dealer do the work for you.
