You'll love the Samsons. They look great and sound phenomenal. The sound of mine is not as "metallic" and is deeper than the sound bite on their website.
I would go to the Samson website, www.samsonusa.com , and determine exactly which TD Fishtails you want for your model year bike. Once you know that, google that model to find the lowest price. There are many vendors and it's hard to say who would have the lowest price, especially this time of year.
Mine are the 28.5" TD Fishtails, model S3-431, on a 2012 Heritage.
What intake etc...are you going to use to match your duals? that is my biggest uncertainty. I want the TD's but unsure of the best matching intake/fuel mgmt system
After a lot of thought and discussion on here I made my mind up too. I am getting the TD 39's straights and I am pretty sure I am cutting my tips too. Also a big thanks goes out to JD from Shotgun shock too. Ya know, he's a great guy. He has my money from my Shotgun shock. He never had to talk to me or ever deal with me again if that was his choice to do so. Rather than that though we exchange emails and he has offered to send me something to help me with my pipes when I get them all free of cost and no strings attached. Try getting that from a "Stealership" or most anyplace else. He is in Cali. and I am in the Chicago area but I kind of consider him a friend now and in turn I would do anything for him that I could out this way. I can't wait to get my pipes and other stuff this winter and roll my bike out in the spring.
