Had a similar issue with my "Stealership" on our Sporty. At the 1000 mile service I had them do the service and when I picked up the bike and drove it home, approx. 14 miles, I could smell burnt oil and had a puddle under the bike in the garage the next morning, after putting her away for the night, and found the oil filter was loose and i had lost almost all of the oil on the ride home. I have done all of the servicing and other maintenance on our bikes since then.

I'll say one thing about this thread, I sure got out my owners manual and double checked how much oil goes in the tranny. Whew, it was a quart. I'm glad cause I'd been blindly dumping a qt in it for over 2 years and my RK before. Before this thread, if I had a '13 I'd probably been dumping a qt in it too.

Had a primary leak on the chrome inner primary that I had the dealership install when I purchased my bike new. Took it back twice. It turned out to be the inner gasket closest to the motor. Drove it home after they fixed it and heard a whining from the primary. Checked the fluid level and guess what, EMPTY they never put primary fluid back in. Lucky it was a relatively short ride home, and didn't do any damage. Gotta love the dealer,

My 2011 is 32oz, anywhere I look. 2013's must be less?
