Default Custom Dynamics LED plate frame ?

I am installing a Custom Dynamics LED plate frame along with the Softbrake plate relocation kit. My question is after wiring the LED plate frame to the original wiring for plate bulb should I leave the original bulb for lighting the stock plate in its socket or take it out? Will leaving the bulb in plus the addition of the new LEDS on the plate frame cause a circuit overload?

I am using Posi- Tap connectors for the wiring. These connectors are slick.

Thanks.

I left the bulb in and connected for quite a while as extra lighting for the rear lens. I just recently installed an LED tail light board so this time around I left the bulb in the socket, but disconnected the wire for it.

It's highly unlikely being that LEDs have such little amperage draw on your electrical system. I would be at all concerned about it. At worse, you'll blow the circuit. But that's very unlikely.
