Lowering Bolt kit question
I used the bolts from ebay for $16.00 and as everyone else has said unless I hit a big bump I dont notice the difference, now it will bottom out on a hard hit and I am a big guy so maybe more than others but I really dont have any problems with them.
Thanks for all of the replies guys, I got exactly what I was hoping for... several replies from several folks with plenty of feedback. I'll post pics when I get it lowered and the rest of my parts swapped.
What is it you don't understand about the op asking for comments from people with lowering bolt kits ONLY? He is looking for a less than $20 kit. Why do you keep bringing up dead creek to anyone posting about lowering BOLTS?? Is you post count not adding up fast enough with relevant answers??

That's what I thought.
And... I just added another post. +1 for me.

When will this ever become a sticky. I swear it comes up every day here about lowering bolts. Then buy the eBay $16 bolts gets posted the the get the collars gets posted then the I had bolts collars shocks then shotgun gets posted. Dead horse broken record around here. Rant over.
OP Welcome, and use the latest part number you have.

Well, technically, the dead creek cycles kit IS a lowering bolt kit. It just adds collars to the existing bolts as opposed to swapping out the bolts for new. As for cost, if the OP does not have the means to remove the shocks, disassemble and reassemble, then the dead creek kit would be cheaper than the bolts + install labor.
