The nostalgic guard is what I went with on my 2013 Deluxe. I had to order it and hopefully will pick it up tomorrow. With snow on the ground I have to have something to do with the bike since I cant take her for a ride. I also got some nostalgic tank emblems. Winter sucks, I would rather be riding.

I think you made the right choice in guards, I like the old school look.

Is there a matching nostalgia rear guard? Just got the front for my 12 deluxe and the hd catalog doesn't show matching rear.

Have a look at the Heritage Springer Saddlebag Guards (49258-00A) - IMHO they seem to match the lines of the Deluxe best.

The rear bag guards for the springer I believe is the shape of the bags.... Please correct me as I'm not possitive.. Here is the front guard...

They don't blatantly follow the 'sloppy/droopy' shape of the springer bags. I have Hog Deluxe bags (Similar to Heritage bags) and the guards look like the were made for them.
