Thats a 1st for me, hearing of that kind of issue! I'm glad the dealer is going to make it right for you. They don't always go along so easily. I don't have a weep but I have seen a spot where a rock hit it and has a tiny ding in it. No one else has ever even noticed it until I pointed it out but I know it's there though. Now I am debating a new oil tank, I don't like imperfections. Some asked why not just get it fixed, I don't think it can be and even if so I would have to send it out to be re-chromed afterwards. Probably just as easy and and cost effective to get a new one rather then go through all of that. If I do go with a new one and anyone needs an oil tank I would let it go for nothing except shipping since it has a ding on it. I have no need for 2 oil tanks! I'm glad they are making your bike right for you.
