bulb question...
I'm looking to get some red 1156 bulbs for the rear turn signals. I have a wiring harness that will allow them to act as brake lights but still function as turn signals as well and blink when necessary. Would they need to be dual filamint bulbs then? I think single filament would still work....just wanted to check. Thanks!

you'll have to use whatever number bulb came out to put back in. an 1156 is a single filament bulb with a single contact base inside the light housing. an 1157 bulb is a dual filament bulb with two contacts inside the housing. using the wrong bulb in the wrong housing will give you problems.

Pin location on a 1156 is different than a 1157.. and they won't lock in place if the wrong one is used.
I went with Smoked lens with a Amber bulb that I bought at a local Auto store..
But, U can find Red bulbs pretty fast if U do a simple Google search.
