Whatever you get, don't forget to put Genuine Harley-Davidson Air in them or you'll void the warranty!

Right off the bat a completely different tread. Other than that you'll need to check out specs for compounds and what not. Not my last set (as I said I got a 250 now) but when I was looking for the set before that the E3 was highly recommended. My next bike will be another bagger so I'll def get the 3's again.

I have ran the commander II and 404s and currently have Shinko 777. The commanders were on my sportster and they so far have been the best feeling tires I have ran. The 404s were on my heritage which now has Shinko 777s, the Shinko's in my opinion feel better then the dunlops, softer and more feeling. Over all they feel more trusting. I have the Pirelli Night Dragons sitting at Diamondback tire having WW put on a 21" and an 18" since Michelin doesn't have the 21 or 18 out yet. Talking to a Pirelli motorcycle tire employee, he said the Night Dragons are a ME 880 on steroids, and the ME 880 is going away this year. So since Pirelli owns Metzler I figure try the Night Dragons.

i asked about this at my dealership.... they said it would only affect the warranty on the rims

it seems some of the tires i hear about are not even an option for me due to size... some of you 250 plus size guys already know this

the stock tire sizes on my blackline are on the thin side, i wouldnt be opposed to changing my tire size a little but i kinda like the smooth rims that came with it

You can go a little wider and still keep the same rim. Also I use JakeWilson for tires. Free shipping and good prices. Not sure if they ship to you but either way they have a good site for tire comparisons. Once you find a tire your interested in then search for the right size. Good luck.

Well, I've been riding in the cool, 30* in the morning, 50* in the afternoon on a Commander II and haven't had any trouble sliding. But all my riding is on relatively well kept asphalt. I don't push real hard when cold as I'm wuss when it comes to going around bends and hitting a tar snake when it's cold. I don't like those kinds of surprises at 5:30 A.M.

Try this link, Bradley:
http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/...torcycle-Tire#
Open up the size chart, they have an E3 in 250.
