That's just a chrome console extender. One of the very few genuine HD parts I have added to my bike. Was pretty disappointed to find that it was just a piece of chromed plastic, made in Taiwan or Malaysia or one of those places. Same with the rear signal housing trim rings. Pretty pathetic, really, for the prices they charge. The reason it looks so funky in that pic is probably because it's reflecting my shirt blowing back and forth in it...
It's taken me a while to think about your rear fender. Now that I have I really like it, looks real good on the bike. Took me long enough to come around though. Glad I ride faster than I think.

heh, heh. Glad you were able to warm up to it. Now that I'm used to looking at it, the stock FB fender looks weird to me, now.
