Default Starter is not working

Maybe someone can help me.....I have a 92 fatboy, I replaced my starter and now it pops out but does not engage the wheel to crank it. it does spin cause when it retracts I see it spinning its just not spinning when it pops all the way out. Anybody ever have something similar?

Not sure about what you describe as "pops out" but, starter clutchs will die and when they do the starter will spin but the engine will not.
Changing a starter clutch on a twincam softail is a bitch (at least it was for me) because the oil tank must be removed Not sure about your Evo but I would imagine it would be similiar.

The starter clutch is what pops out, didn't know what it was called, but doesn't turn the motor over. Thanks dude I'll change that out an try again.
