You may have a dirty connection in your low fuel warning switch located in the gas tank. You need to find the switch that is screwed into the bottom of the gas tank and take the wiring harness loose there.Clean it and look for any bare wires or nicks or bad connections.if this still doesnt fix the issue you may need to get a new low fuel warning switch from the dealer and reinstall. The best way would be to take the tank off and invert it so gas doesnt come pouring out when you take off the switch. The tank should have one or two bolts or wingnuts at the end nearest your seat, take those out, disconnect the fuel lines and the tank should slide off.
Unless something has changed drastically since 2005, the fuel level float switch is located inside the tank along with the fuel pump assembly. The float switches are notorious for going bad. There is nothing to access via the bottom of the tank, aside from the electrical connector for the fuel level gauge. Everything in the tank is accessed from the top, below the dash is the access cover. You can remove everything from the acess cover without removing the tank. Watch a youtube vid before attempting, as this process is a huge PITA if you have never seen it done. If you need to remove the tank, it will be easiest to drain it when you cut the crossover line. I would not leave it full and invert it, that makes no sense at all and does nothing for you as there is nothing to access from the bottom of the tank. I am also pretty sure there are no models with wingnuts holding the tank on.
Can't help too much on the "lo rng", but sounds like either low fuel, or bad float.
