I rode one at the demo rides at Daytona Bikeweek. I was wary of the rear tire which is even fatter than the one on my Nightrain. One of the HD staff told me that the frame had been redone for the Breakout and that the front and rear wheels were no longer offset from being centerlined on each other.

The rake is much more radical than my Nightrain.

This bike handles the way that my Nightrain should have handled when it was new.

It has a cable actuated throttle.

Next I rode a '13 Roadglide also which has throttle by wire. I really didn't like that... not at all.

It also seemed that your feet are more under your body instead of taking on that clamshell position... but they aren't.

All in all, I would recommend it to anyone that wanted a Nightrain that they don't make any more.

Looking at that vid of the guys CVO version the thought that came to mind is theirs a hell of a lot of cleaning to be done on that bike when it needs it and good luck keeping the wheels clean and rust free, I think even if I had the money I'd go for the peasants version on that fact alone as well as price.
