PLEASE GIVE ME SOME HELP HERE. I RODE THE ROD LIKED IT ALOT BUT NOT THE DEUCE.
FOUND A GUY WITH 400 MILES ON DEUCE WITH 3000 IN MODS PERFECT COND $24000
Air cooled Harley's are trying to be phased out by the man because of emmissions. The Vrod is the Bike and engine Harley will use into the future.
Classic or cutting edge! take your pick!
I've ridden them both. The V-Rod handles and performs like no other Harley. Kind of a cross between a Ninja sportbike & a Road King. Almost twice the horses of the deuce. The only negative is that it just doesn't look right in front of the watering hole!
The deuce is classic HD. Looks great! Even if it can't hold a candle to the VRod performance!
Cant' go wrong with the S.E. Deuce no matter what color. V-rod's are not holding value as well. That is a good buy on the deuce, they are doing that much on e-bay.
While I like the concept of the liquid cooled VROD engine and the engine itself looks OK, I didn't like the powerband, the absence of sound (potato, potato, potato...) and the riding position bothered my shoulders. It was like HD is not sure if it is supposed to be a Buell or a cruiser... Finally, the radiator hanging out front still looks like an after thought, so I guess (if you couldn't tell) I would go with the Deuce deal.
