The only reason I'm a little leary he has had this bike for sale for 4wks only 1 call he started at 24500 he will take 24000 maybe alittle less. I can't see anything wrong but I still question why no bites on this bike.

The right people have not looked at it yet,When you have a Harley for sale you have to expect that you will have many many many wannabes that do not have the money to buy it.
A lot of the reason for the lack of interest could be lack of information. A lot of people looking at the add might be assuming, as I did at first, that this is a Duece with 3,000 worth of accessories on it for 24,500. Before I came out of my fog and realized you were talking about a SE model, I was getting ready to post that it was a crazy price.
Without realizing it's a SE, I would never answer an add with this kind of price tag. That might be what uninformed people reading the add are thinking. Just a thought.
With only 400 miles on it, I doubt he could have done much damage to it if everything looks good. I would assume that it still has some warranty, so you should be safe mechanically.
Do you think I would be pushing it at 23500 the guy seems like he really doesn't want to sell.
He hurt his back but said if he can't get his price he will keep it.
Offer 23,500. He can only say "No", then you can give him his price if you are so inclined. It never hurts to negoiate the price of anything, whether it's a dealer or private individual. Offering 1,000 off of the asking price in this case certainly wouldn't be an insult.
Thanks, bythe way this guy is having new syn oil put today because it's at the HD dealer. He only has 412 mile is that a bad thing to be changing the oil that quick.
