Well, after a week of hitting the net and numerous phone calls I made the plunge for polished rotors went with American wire wheel redial style. also went for the HHi four piston chrome calipers and an American wire wheel radial style pulley and what the heck i went for the rear chrome brake master cylinder. I have seen a lot of different rotors on the deluxe along with 50 spoke fat daddy wheels which I was one of the first on the site with these wheels. But after a little research I found out that the American wire wheel rotors compliment the fat daddy's in a way that most others do not. the spokes line up with the openings on the rotor and from the other side its a real site. When I make a purchase I spend a lot of time checking things out. I was going to use a different rotor but one day I did some looking and made a call and I had these PICS sent to me and Was sold on the idea.hopefully ill have the parts and installed in the next couple of weeks when of course ill post pics http://members.aol.com/nikonf8/aww.jpg http://members.aol.com/nikonf8/aww2.jpg
Hogtie thank you. The black and white deluxe is still being made three years running they changed the secondary color in the white a little but its one of the colors that lives on they did away with the two tone white and light blue and now have it with colbolt blue. Of all the deluxe colors I feel that the black and white presentation is the most nostalgic looking. I have battled my sub conscious numerous times about changing my tin to a more custom paint job but I always trash the idea it will take away the look I really like.
Nikon, those rotors are going to be a great compliment to an already outstanding bike. Great choice. Can't wait to see pics of them installed on your Deluxe.
