Default Deuce center stand????

I did a search here and came up empty. Anyone make a center stand for the Deuce that attachés to the bike. Also, does anyone have a suggestion for a center lift stand that they like?

Sorry boss, I haven't heard of anything like that. I have to admit I might be looking for something like that for my Softail Custom, or a replacement stand. There seem to be quite a few incidences of bikes "walking" forward & falling over. God luck in your search!

I haven't seen any myself neither, but a little search through some Custom Fabrication Places on the Internet or even Bike Mags where theres articles in Mags and Links on Websites, about getting custome parts for your Harley or Metric Bikes, I'm sure you can get something going.

I always put my bike in gear when parked to prevent it from rollong forward, it became a force of memory that I got to put it into nuetral or hold in the clutch when starting.

I do exactly the same southpaw.... always leave it in gear. I shudder at the thought of parking it in nuetral.

Been searching for days. Couldn't find any that bolt to the bike but I did find this one that I like for the garage. Unfortunately you can't order it. Says website being revamped and there is no contact info. Seems like a quality piece though.

Somebody around here made one from scrap lumber and a piece of pipe. Its not anything you can take with you, but its good for the garage, and cheap.
Do a search, it should come up "IF" you can figure out the right question to ask.

It is difficult to immagine a center-stand on a Deuce that anyone could actually use. I used to have a Honda that came in at about 550 pounds with its attached center-stand and a big Cowasaka later that was about the same size. It was something of a task for the uneducated to get either bike up on its stand; a lot of people simply couldn't do it. With the sort of back that come with my age and the height of anything substantial on a Deuce to grab hold of its a little hard to immagine myself or most anyone else just snatching the thing back on the stand at its wet-and-ready riding weight of just a tad over 680 pounds. I suspect that is the reason that you don't see a bunch of them around, that and the reduced lean available because of the extra hardware hanging downundernieth.

Putiing a bike on the centerstand comes with experience. If you can do it with one bike, most likely you can with another...IMO...

I agree, it's more a matter of technique rather than brut strength. My first bike was a Honda CB175 and for the life of me I couldn't get that silly little thing up on the stand. At least until I learned the trick. After that I haven't had a problem getting any bike of any size up on one.
You just have to learn the "trick", but do it the wrong way and you’ll have a hernia long before the bike ever gets on the stand.
Than being saidI do have reservations about one on a bike the size and weight of a Softail.
And I think Kong makes a good observation in that there just is no really good, solid place to grab the bike.
There is also the “problem†of if its going to be balanced once its up.
Most of the metric bikes that have them have enough room under them for stands wide enough to balance on under most conditions.
Ever really look closely under a Softail? Its fairly narrow and low under there.
Any stand wide enough to reliably hold up any Harley bigger than a Sporty is going to be enormous and stick WAY out both sides. Anything that wide and low is going toput a substantial dent in the bikes lean angle. Something that Harley’s are fairly infamous for as it is.
Not sure about you guys but the idea of a big old chunk of solidly mounted steel hanging out where it can hit the ground in a hard turn isn’t my idea of fun.
