Question Stretched Tank question...

Anyone out there running a stretched tank on their ride? If so, did you have your stock one stretched or did you purchase it? I have an 06 FatBoy and looking for one for it. If anyone did purchase one, did you ever deal with the ones that Bikers Choice have? Or can someone know of any other places to purchase them besides Ebay? Thanks for any replies...

I will ask them. A fabricator modified it to suit the heartland seat. I will find out what I can.

I have a stretched one on my 06 Fatboy. I bought a paint set from vividdragon.com and they provided the sheetmetal. supposedly it's OEM but I would have to find a part# for it.

Got my pre-stretched tank from Ebay. IMHO they're better than stretching a stock tank, because the underside is arched so it shows off the engine a lot more.

This is the style I got... notice the bottom isn't flat. VERY nice to show off the rocker boxes. I paid less since I got it on fleabay. Just remember to get it sealed & pressure tested, whichever route you go.
